the wines mentioned in the guide
Brouilly 2009, Chiroubles 2009 and Saint Veran 2008

This 2008 offers an attractive nose , not very intense associating the hawthorn, the yellow fruits and vanilla.
The mouth is long enough , one can find  in the final balance in the fresh lemon notes.
To accompany a cold salmon with homemade mayonnaise.
This wine producer  established in early last century, is managed since 1985 by Jean-Jacques Baronnat, the grand-son of the founder.
His 2009 Chiroubles gets a citation, just as this Brouilly wine,  wearing a colour  crimson velvet, with a fruity bouquet reminiscent of black currant jam.
Round and soft palate, this wine reveals a silky tannins and lovely aromatic persistence.
Well balanced, it is ready.
